Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, it’s completely different. This is one-on-one coaching that uses martial arts as a tool for life skills. We don't teach fighting. Instead, we focus on building confidence, routine, and skills that help at home, school, and in the community. We are an NDIS-registered provider, which means we must meet strict safety and quality standards.

  • Yes, safety is our first priority. Many of our clients start with no sports experience. We begin with no contact at all—just movement, bag work, and learning at a comfortable pace. We never force anything. All coaches are trained in safety, first aid, and work with neurodivergent individuals. We complete a detailed safety plan together before starting.

  • Here’s how it works:

What we do in a session: Learning a 3-step punch combination
What it builds: Planning and remembering steps
How it helps at home: Following a morning routine or recipe

What we do in a session: Taking turns holding pads for a partner
What it builds: Social timing and cooperation
How it helps socially: Better playdates or group activities

What we do in a session: Managing frustration when learning something new
    What it builds: Emotional control
How it helps everywhere: Handling disappointment or changes

The physical activity makes learning these skills more engaging and memorable.

  • Each one-hour session includes:

    1. Check-in (How are you? What’s our focus today?)

    2. Warm-up (Gentle movement to get ready)

    3. Skill building (Learning techniques at your pace)

    4. Cool-down & chat (What did we learn? How does it help your goals?)

We come to you (home, park, or quiet space) and bring all equipment.
